As part of our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with environmentally-efficient ways of reducing waste, JJ’s Waste is proud to offer a used oil collection and recycling service incorporating allied workshop services and management of other hydrocarbon wastes. JJ’s Waste has developed a number of regionally located aggregation and oil recovery facilities to support this service.
JJ’s Waste is committed to raising the industry standard providing true used oil recycling services in order to reduce the reliance on burning oil as the only disposal option for used oil. This commitment has lead JJ’s Waste to develop a specialised oil collection fleet and facilities including our partnership with Southern Oil Refineries to provide a true lube to lube recycling solution.

JJ’s Waste is the first in Australia to utilise a uniquely adapted G-Force to recover and reuse waste oil. Our Wacol facility located in South East Queensland provides essential waste management infrastructure including our G-Force equipment.
G-Force is specialised equipment designed to maximise the efficient recovery and reuse of oil, sludges and industrial wastewater.
Aside from recovering the value from used oil, JJ’s Waste through its significant investment and commitment to recycling and resource recovery, will also assist in ensuring that this material does not end up in Queenslands waterways, landfills and sewerage systems.
Re-Refining Oil
To further demonstrate our commitment to providing true used oil recycling services, JJ’s Waste is proud to be working in partnership with Southern Oil Refineries Pty Ltd (SOR) to provide a true lube to lube recycling solution.
The refining process produces no waste, reduces the need for oil imports and the lube oil product has a significantly smaller carbon footprint that crude based oils.
Together, JJ’s Waste and SOR constructed a state of the art facility in Gladstone, Queensland to cater foe the significant output of used oil generated by the resource sector, trucks fleets, local governments and heavy vehicle operators.
