About Us
We’ve had a long history, more than 90 years of servicing waste management across Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America.
You’ve probably seen the fleet of vehicles with their recognisable green and gold swish on your street. But we’re more than the friendly drivers lifting bins. We’re the movers and shakers ensuring total waste management solutions are meeting the demands of government, business, and the community in our ever-changing world.
We employ over 2,700 people and have a fleet of over 1,700 vehicles, providing a variety of waste and recycling solutions for over 130,000 commercial customers and 60 local government authorities. But we are more than just a waste and recycling service provider…
Total waste management is our way of saying we are pioneers in the waste industry since the establishment of our in-house Engineering division in 1950.
Through JJR Engineering, JJ’s Waste & Recycling have been involved in the development of several world-firsts including the first-ever automated side-loading vehicle we know today. We are excited to continue to innovate and change the ways of the industry as we know it.
Innovation is central to what we do and is critical to the way we think at JJ’s. Without forward-thinking ideas and the flexibility to explore opportunities we won’t be able to solve the environmental challenges that face us now and into the future.
